That's the mantra our engineers always follow and our CCTV surveys are conducted using the latest in CCTV technology.  Any additional time and cost is almost always recouped in avoiding those nasty problems.

Our CCTV inspection will show:

  • blockages
  • cracks
  • gaps
  • erosion
  • tar build-up

We also inspect liners carefully for flue tears where the wrong heads have been used or an inexperienced sweep has been too enthusiastic!

Why would you need a CCTV survey?

  • Identify areas where CO (Carbon Monoxide) could escape or leak.
  • Locate blockages caused by birds, loose bricks or sometimes construction errors.
  • Party wall surveys. • Structure survey after having a chimney fire.
  • Check the overall structure before using the fire or woodburner before use (Landlord, rented, homebuyers and new build surveys).
  • Safety survey for Thatched, Listed and Period properties.
  • Survey before any lining works are undertaken (recommended) Insurance approved surveys with full DVD footage and comprehensive report detailing our findings.
